On the knitting front, sock #2 of the pair shown yesterday is nearly to the heel flap and will probably be finished either this evening or tomorrow morning

After a dreary morning and rainy noontime, we now are being treated to bright, warm sunshine!

Dreary Rainy Day!
Rather uninspiring out today, so watched a few movies on DVD ["Up Periscope" and "Operation Pacific], puttered around the house a bit, and just finished a double batch of fudge--to which I added a liberal dose of shredded coconut.

 

of course, to keep my hands busy while watching the movies, I worked on a pair of socks

after a long hiatus, hard to decide what to catch up with first.  lots and lots of precious new baby bovines, lots of knitting completed-mainly baby blankets for gifts, socks, always lots and lots of socks, and gingham potholders from my favorite pattern [from Frugalhaus] for my best friend from high school [yes, even  56 yrs  after we graduated, we're still buddies.
